In this hands-on course, I’ll teach you how to transform your design into a sculpture and create a 3D pattern from your sculpt. We’ll be focusing on making a puppet head and working with Worbla, a fantastic non-toxic thermoplastic widely used in the prop-making industry. You’ll gain a comprehensive set of skills for working in three dimensions and building lightweight puppet heads.

You will learn how to:

Take accurate scale measurements from your design
Turn a 2D drawing into a sculpt
Work with clay
Create a 3D pattern
Use Worbla sheet material
